Track Entertainment

Track Entertainment is an entertainment and media company that specializes in connecting brands with general market and multicultural consumers through events, nightlife, and influence programs. For example, Track produced the “Pepsi Smash” concert series,〔http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/60078/global-gathering-fest-descends-on-miami〕 which included concerts with artists including Kanye West, T-Pain, Gwen Stefani, and Mariah Carey. Track services include event production, sponsorship activation, strategic partnerships, and nightlife sponsorship and product seeding.
The company has offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, and London.
== History ==

Originally called “Track Marketing,” the company was founded in 1986. It was sold to Warner Music Group in 1990. Two years later, Track was purchased back from Warner Music Group. During this time the firm focused primarily on music/concert productions. In 2002, Track was purchased and then merged with nightlife Web site Clubplanet.com to form "Track Entertainment,〔http://mycrains.crainsnewyork.com/40under40/profiles/2006/andrew-fox〕" then adding the ticketing website Wantickets to its portfolio in 2003 (which was subsequently sold to Private Equity Firm River North in 2011). In 2004, Track purchased CoolJunkie.com, a Miami-based nightlife/lifestyle site. Track launched its first multicultural site, nocheLatina.com, in 2005. In 2006, Track Merged with Angel Music Group to create a world wide entertainment group know as L2N, and produced the first edition of Global Gathering in the US.
